COLOR CHANGING/ JAMIE LYNN

IPOMOEA PURPUREA

DOUBLES AND SINGLES MIX

My Mah My! Nothing will make you want to speak with a sweat and smooth Southern accent like the Country Garden feel of this simply delicious "Jamie Lynn" Morning Glory we have dubbed the "Color Changing" Morning Glory! Quick conversation detour: Of all the photos we have had stolen by fake seed sellers, the photo at the top has been stolen the most.  It is a true beauty of a Morning Glory!

This plant is so photogenic and beautiful that we could fill this space with the beauty that is she!
This flower blooms like the most delicate of silks yet is strong as nails and healthy as they come. It grows with vigor and blooms with joy producing a full seed basket! We call this the color changing morning glory for a reason, IT TRUTHFULLY CHANGES COLORS! I am sure it was given a feminine name because it is a customarily feminine plant. It is pretty, dainty, and every single bloom is beautiful! Like most double/single mixes, the doubles come about two weeks after the first single bloom, but when they come, my worrrrdddd, do they ever!

We absolutely LOVED this plant. With the constant weather changes last year we raced out to the garden in the morning to see what color it was. Most mornings it was the color expected, a white, silky morning glory with a pink star. Yet, if we were lucky and the day was dark, we could have the most mysterious pastel blue ever! And when that humidity meter shot up, so did the pink hues! Pink days made pink flowers! Some days there were combinations of colors and if the day changed suddenly, so did the color of our little Miss Jamie Lynn, the color changing Morning Glory!

We purchased the seed for this Morning Glory from:

The Jacksonville Morning Glory Vineyard
